A
message to India’s Generation Next
|
|
| Every Indian has reason to be proud of our country's achievement in the field of milk production.
From a situation not long ago, where we
were deficient in milk production, we are now the world leader in
milk production. This was made possible thanks to the co-operative
movement. |
 |
The
dairy co-operative movement in India is huge in size and spread across the
length and breadth of our nation, networking thousands of tiny villages
to major towns and metros. For the 11 million farmers and their families, who are a part of the co-operative movement, milk has become their major source of income. |
|
Young
people have an important role to play in this co-operative movement,
both as individual consumers and as a part of the co-operative movement.
As individual consumers we all have a responsibility to patronise
hygienically packed co-operative milk to ensure health and safety
for our families.
|
| Young
people can contribute in many other ways as well. To begin with, choose
milk, rather than cola drinks, keeping in mind the nutritive advantage.
It also serves our milk producer's interests and makes this co-operative
venture stronger. |
| Spread
this message far and wide amongst friends
and relatives…Become
a part of this co-operative movement that touches the lives of millions
of our fellow countrymen. |
